Our Social Responsibility

When launching our brand more than 15 years ago, we had a vision of creating high-quality garments in timeless designs. Our long-term philosophy was woven into our company culture from its start. The buying less but better concept forms the foundation for sustainability over time. It drives everything we do. Since day one, we’ve developed lasting products to be used and loved far into the future.

Our philosophy is the same when it comes to doing business. We believe in building long-term relations with partners and suppliers. Agreements based on mutual trust, respect, and shared values – with honest intention to be a part of the change that facilitates a better future.

We work with all types of suppliers – from small traditional workshops to state-of-the-art factories. Many of them have been with us since our launch. They’re all engaged, essential partners in our product development.

All our partners comply with the Berkeley General Agreement, including the amfori BSCI code of conduct (a world-leading initiative for improving and auditing labor conditions in the supply chain).

Careful material and fabric selections are critical for lightening our environmental footprint and ensuring that we use materials that are ethically and sustainably produced. Each component in our products must comply with REACH, regulating the use of chemical content. Rudolf Bionic-Finish®ECO replaces fluorocarbons, which we no longer use in our outerwear.

We take one step at a time and strive to get better and better. Every day. We constantly evaluate our initiatives and efforts, because we know we’re doing it for a future we share with all living things. A future in which we can wear our garments with pride.
